Weapon
Pick one of 85 weapons, from katanas and longbows to muskets, blasters and magic staffs, and Nodaro adds the weapon and a short description to your prompt.
The Weapon picker adds a weapon to an image or a video. You choose one weapon from its catalog, such as a katana, a longbow, a flintlock pistol, a blaster or a magic staff. Nodaro adds the weapon and a short description of its form to the prompt of every node you connect it to. The picker never calls a model, so it costs no credits.
When to use it
- Action sequences and combat staging.
- Period drama: medieval knights, samurai or the Wild West.
- Fantasy and sci-fi character design.
- Game cinematics and promotional art.
How to use it
Add the picker
Open the node picker and choose Creative Controls › Subject › Weapon.
Choose a weapon
Select the node and choose a weapon in the settings panel. The tiles are grouped by kind, and each tile shows an emoji icon of the weapon.
Connect it
Drag from the picker's output to the Elements input of a Generate Image or Generate Video node. You can also connect it to a Text or Prompt node to include the wording in a longer text.
Run the image or video node
The weapon's wording is added to the end of the prompt when the connected node runs.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Weapon | The weapon to add. The default is Katana. |
| Custom text (before) | Your own words, added before the weapon's wording. |
| Custom text (after) | Your own words, added after the weapon's wording. |
| Prompt hint | Full adds the weapon and a description of it. Compact adds only the short name. See Creative Controls. |
To see the exact words the picker will add, switch the node to the Prompt or Both display mode. The settings panel shows the same text under Will inject into prompt.
What it adds to the prompt
In Full mode, the picker writes "with a", the weapon's name and one sentence about its shape and details. The descriptions focus on form and silhouette and avoid gratuitous detail. For Katana it adds:
with a katana, Japanese katana with a single-edged gently curved blade, wrapped rayskin handle, disc-shaped tsuba guard and a polished mirror finishIn Compact mode, it adds only katana. Use Compact when your prompt already describes the weapon, or when many pickers feed one node.
Every weapon
The catalog has 12 groups: Swords, Daggers & Knives, Axes, Polearms, Bows & Crossbows, Blunt & Impact, Throwing, Firearms (Modern), Firearms (Historical), Explosives & Siege, Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Search it or filter it by group. The words under each name are the term the picker adds in Compact mode.
