Suno Voice

Create a custom voice persona from a short recording of your own voice, then use it as the singer on Suno Create Music, Suno Cover and Suno Extend.

The Suno Voice node creates a custom voice persona from a short recording of your voice. You set it up once in a three-step window, and the node keeps the voice. When you connect it to a Suno music node, the song is sung in your voice.

Suno Voice sits in the Music & Voice family, but it is not a catalog picker. It has no options to choose, and it does not add words to a prompt. It also does not run as part of a workflow run: the voice is created during setup, and every later run reuses it.

When to use it

  • Sing a generated song in your own voice.
  • Build a small set of voice personas for a podcast, an ad campaign or a game soundtrack.
  • Compare the same lyrics sung by several custom voices.

Create the voice

You need a clean recording of your voice, and a way to record a short phrase during setup.

Add the node

Open the node picker on the Audio tab and choose Creative Controls › Music & Voice › Suno Voice. Click Configure Voice on the node to open the setup window.

Step 1: give it your recording

Upload an audio file, or paste its link under Source recording URL. Set Vocal segment start (s) and Vocal segment end (s) to a part of the recording where your voice is clear. Choose the Phrase language, then click Get validation phrase.

Step 2: read the phrase

The window shows a short phrase made for this submission, so it cannot be prepared in advance. Record yourself singing or speaking it exactly, then upload the recording under Your recording and click Continue. Click Regenerate phrase if you want a different phrase.

Step 3: name the voice

Enter a Voice name and choose a Singer skill level. Optionally, add a Style (optional), such as Pop, female vocal, and a Description (optional). Click Create voice. The voice is usually ready in 30 to 90 seconds.

When the voice is ready, the node shows Ready and the voice name. The button on the node changes to Edit Voice. If you close the window before the end, the button reads Resume Setup.

Use the voice in a song

Connect the node's Voice persona output to the Voice input of Suno Create Music, Suno Cover or Suno Extend. When that node runs, the music is sung in your custom voice. One Suno Voice node can feed many music nodes.

A voice persona sings the lyrics of a new Suno song, with a genre from a Music Genre picker.

On Suno Create Music, the Audio Weight slider sets how strongly the connected voice persona steers the song.

Credits

Getting and regenerating the validation phrase is free. Creating the voice is charged once, when you click Create voice in step 3. If creation fails or times out, the credits are refunded. After that, the voice is saved on the node, and later runs reuse it at no extra cost. The Suno node that sings with the voice is charged as usual.

Tips

  • Sing, do not speak. A sung validation recording produces a richer voice persona for music.
  • Choose a clean segment. In step 1, pick a part of the recording with your voice and very little background music. The model builds the voice from this part.
  • Keep the phrase recording short and clean. 5 to 15 seconds, with only your voice reading the phrase.
  • Read the phrase exactly. The check compares the sound of your recording with the phrase. Mumbling, skipped words or extra speech make step 3 fail.
  • Click again after a timeout. The window waits up to about 2 minutes for the phrase and about 4 minutes for the voice. If it stops waiting, click the button again: the work often finishes anyway.
  • Use any Suno model. Voice personas work on Suno V3 and newer, which covers every Suno model in Nodaro.
