Still to Video
Turn one image and one audio track into an MP4, with an optional zoom, pan or Ken Burns motion. No AI model runs, so it costs 0 credits.
The Still to Video node turns one still image and one audio track into an MP4 video. The video is exactly as long as the audio, and an optional motion effect, such as a zoom, a pan or a Ken Burns move, brings the still to life. No AI model runs, so the node always costs 0 credits.
When to use it
- A narrated slide: a generated image with a voiceover becomes a ready video segment.
- A podcast or music visualizer: cover art with the track becomes an MP4 you can upload.
- A photo moment inside a longer edit: send the result to Combine Videos.
- Any Generate Image result as video, without spending credits on a video model.
For several images over one track, use Slideshow.

Inputs
| Input | Accepts | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Still image | Image nodes | The picture to show. Required. |

The output, Video, is an MP4 file with H.264 video and AAC audio.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Motion | None (the default), Zoom in, Zoom out, Pan left, Pan right or Ken Burns. With None, the render is a fast static frame. |
| Intensity | How strong the motion is, from 1 (subtle) to 10 (strong). The default is 3. It has no effect when Motion is None. |
| Resolution | 720p, 1080p (the default) or 4K. The value names the short edge of the frame; the long edge follows the aspect ratio. |
| Aspect Ratio | 16:9 (the default), 9:16, 1:1 or 4:3. |
| FPS | 24 or 30 (the default) frames per second. |
| Fit | cover (the default) crops the still to fill the frame. contain shows the whole still and fills the bars with the pad color. |
| Pad Color | The color of the bars when Fit is contain. The default is black, #000000. |
There is no duration setting. The length of the video always equals the length of the audio, read when the render starts.
Credits
Still to Video always costs 0 credits. It renders on Nodaro's own media engine, with no AI model.
Tips
- Feed a large enough image. The node never adds detail to your image; it only frames it. Use a still at or above the output resolution.
- Choose the fit by content. Use cover for full-bleed footage, and contain when the whole image must stay visible, such as posters, artwork and documents.
- Match the motion to the mood. Ken Burns at an intensity of 2 to 4 reads as documentary; 7 and above reads as deliberate motion graphics.
- Expect static bars. With contain and a motion, the still moves inside the frame and the bars stay still.
- 4K with motion is the slow path. Without motion, even 4K renders quickly.
