Glossary

Plain definitions of the Nodaro terms a newcomer meets, from workflow, node and connection to credits, presets, templates, MiniApps, MCP and the editions.

This glossary defines the Nodaro terms you meet when you start, in one or two plain sentences each. The terms are in alphabetical order, and each one links to the page that explains it in full.

Execute workflow. The button at the bottom of the canvas that runs every node of the workflow in order. See Running workflows.

Execution. One recorded run of a workflow, with the status of each node. The Executions page and tab list them. See Executions.

Explore. Two different places: the Explore tab of the home screen holds templates and tutorials, and the Explore entry of the sidebar opens the community library. See Tour of the editor.

F

Factory preset. A read-only preset that ships with Nodaro, such as a camera move for Generate Video. See Presets.

Fan-out. Running a node once for every item of a list, so that ten prompts give ten results. See Lists and batching.

Final view. A view of a prompt that shows the exact text a node will send, with each part coloured by where it comes from. See Prompt variables.

G

Gallery. The Community Gallery, where people's public results appear. See Assets and media.

Item. A connection mode that passes one item of a list, chosen by its position, such as 1 or last. See Connection modes.

L

Label. The name of a node on the canvas. You can use a label in a prompt as a variable, such as {Mood}. See Prompt variables.

List. A set of items, such as prompts or images, that a workflow processes one by one or all at once. The List node holds one. See Lists and batching.

Location. An asset for a place that must look the same in every shot. See Locations.

Look. The input of image and video nodes that takes the wording of pickers such as Lighting and Mood. See Nodes and connections.

M

MCP. The Model Context Protocol. It lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor use Nodaro to make media, build workflows and run them. See AI agents (MCP).

Media Library. A panel of the editor with your images, videos and audio, ready to add to the canvas. See Assets and media.

MiniApp. Nodaro's name for an app: a workflow published as a simple form with its own URL. The MiniApps entry of the sidebar lists them. See Apps.
