Add your own audio to a workflow. Upload an MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC or OGG file or paste a link, trim it before upload, and wire it to any audio node.
The Upload Audio node adds an audio file of your own to a workflow. You upload a file or paste a direct link. The node then passes the audio to any node that takes audio, such as Lip Sync, Voice Changer or Transcribe.
When to use it
- You have a recording, a voiceover or a song that a workflow should use.
- You want a talking head: wire a speech recording and a portrait into Lip Sync.
- You want to re-voice, dub or transcribe a recording with Voice Changer, Dubbing or Transcribe.
- You want a soundtrack under a video: wire the audio into Merge Video & Audio.
Quick start
Add the node
Press Tab on the canvas and choose Audio › Add Your Own › Upload Audio.
Choose the audio
Click Choose Audio, or drop a file on the node. To use a file that is already online, click or use URL and paste a direct link to the audio file.
Trim it and upload it
The Adjust Audio step opens when you choose a file. Drag the start and end points of the selection to keep only the part you need, then click Upload.
Wire it to the next node
Drag from the Audio output to the audio input of the next node.
Output
Upload Audio is a starting node: it needs nothing wired into it. The output, Audio, is the URL of the uploaded file. It can feed any number of nodes at once.

Supported formats are MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC and OGG.
Trim and convert before upload
Choosing a file, or dropping one on the node, opens the Adjust Audio step before anything is uploaded.

The header shows the resulting duration, format and estimated file size while you adjust. If Nodaro cannot read the duration of the file, the trim control is hidden and the whole file is uploaded.
Tips
- Upload WAV for voice work. WAV keeps the highest quality for nodes such as Lip Sync and Voice Changer. Use MP3 when a small file matters more.
- Clean noisy recordings first. Wire the audio through Voice Extractor before a voice or transcription node when there is background noise.
- Use Reference Audio for YouTube. For the audio of a YouTube video, use Reference Audio. For the sound of any other video, use Extract Audio.
