Add an AI-generated instrumental arrangement to a vocal track made by a Suno node. Suno matches the genre, tempo and key of the vocals automatically.
The Suno Add Instrumental node adds an instrumental arrangement to a vocal track made by a Suno node. Suno tries to match the genre, the tempo and the key of the vocals, so the node needs no prompt. It is the counterpart of Suno Add Vocals, which adds vocals to an instrumental.
When to use it
- You have an acapella or vocal-only Suno track and need backing music.
- You want a new arrangement under an existing vocal performance.
- You want several instrumental versions of the same vocal take.
Quick start
Add the node
Press Tab on the canvas, or open the node picker in the sidebar, and choose Audio › Music › Suno Add Instrumental.
Connect a vocal track
Connect a Suno node whose track has clear vocals, such as Suno Create Music, to the Audio input.
Run it
Choose a Model if you want another version than Suno V6, then click Run. The track with the new instrumental appears on the node.

Tips
- Choose the version for the job. Suno V6 gives the richest and most detailed instrumentals. Suno V6 Mini is faster.
- Start from clear vocals. The clearer the vocals, the better Suno matches the instrumental to them.
- Compare arrangements. Run the node several times on the same vocals to get different instrumental versions.
- Keep a lossless copy. Send the result to Suno Convert WAV when you need a WAV file for mixing.
