Object/Props Asset

Build a reusable prop or product in the Object Studio, with angle, material and variation images and short motion clips, and keep the same item in every shot.

The Object/Props Asset node holds a reusable object: a prop, a product, a vehicle or a piece of furniture. It keeps an approved main image, a written description, angle, material and variation images, and short motion clips. You build the object in the full-screen Object Studio, or choose one you already have. Wire it into Generate Image or Generate Video, and the same item appears in every shot.

When to use it

  • You need the same product in many shots, for example for an ad or an online shop.
  • You want product images from several angles, or in several materials.
  • You need props that stay the same across the scenes of a story.
  • You want short showcase clips of a product, such as a slow 360-degree turn.

Quick start

Add the node

Press Tab on the canvas and choose Assets › Objects › Object/Props Asset. To reuse an object you already have, click Choose existing on the node instead, and skip to the last step.

Open the Object Studio

Click the studio button on the node, or Open Object/Props Studio in the settings panel. The studio opens on the Appearance page.

Describe the object and generate the main image

Type a name and a description, and choose the category and the style. Choose 1, 2 or 4 candidates and click Generate. With one candidate, the result becomes the main image. With two or four, approve the one you want.

Add variants

Generate angles, materials, variations or motion clips on the pages in the sidebar. With Style Lock on, every variant starts from the approved main image.

Use the object

Close the studio. Connect the node's Object/Props output to the Assets input of Generate Image or Generate Video.

An object and a location feed one image, so the same lantern appears in the same library.

The node on the canvas

The node shows the approved main image, the object's name, counters for its angles, materials and variations, a studio button, and a Choose existing button, which becomes Replace once the node has an object.

The settings panel shows the Object/Props Name, a summary, an Open Object/Props Studio button, the Choose from library or gallery row and the Style Lock switch. Type {} in the name to insert the text of the node connected to the Prompt input.

Style Lock is on by default. Toggle it in the studio header or in the node's settings panel.

The Object Studio

The Object Studio is a full-screen editor with a sidebar of pages:

GroupPages
ResourcesReferences
IdentityAppearance
CompositionAngles
VariantsMaterials, Variations
MotionMotion
SheetSheet, Board

The studio saves as you work, and generation runs on the server, so a result is added to the object even if you close the studio while it generates.

Appearance

The Appearance page holds the Name, the Description, the Category and the Style, and makes the main image:

  • The categories are furniture, vehicle, weapon, food, clothing, electronics, nature, tool, animal and other. The styles are realistic, anime, 3d-pixar and illustration.
  • Generate makes 1, 2 or 4 candidates. With 1, the result becomes the main image directly. With 2 or 4, approve the one to keep.
  • Approving writes the canonical description, a detailed visual description of about 80 to 120 words that is sent with the object to later generations. Without it, the object drifts more between scenes.

References

The References page holds a mood board of up to 20 reference photos. Give each photo a kind: front, side, detail, context, mood board or other. You can add several photos of the same kind. The kind tells the model what each photo is for, for example a detail close-up or the object in its setting.

The photos travel with the object. Every image and video node that uses the object receives them as extra references. For a hero prop or a signature product, 3 to 6 photos give the model enough context for faithful first results.

Angles, materials and variations

Each page shows the variants made so far, a row of preset chips, a field for your own prompt and a Generate All button.

PagePresets
Anglesfront, side, top, back, three-quarter, detail, in-context, exploded, perspective
Materialswood, metal, glass, plastic, fabric, stone, ceramic, leather, paper, gold, silver, copper, marble
Variationsclean, weathered, damaged, ornate, minimal, broken, antique, futuristic, holographic, dirty, polished

The Materials page also has a browser for the full Material catalog, for richer choices such as "polished brushed brass" instead of "gold". The name of each variant is the tag that identifies it.

Motion

The Motion page animates the approved main image into short showcase clips. It needs an approved main image first.

A clip costs the same as the same image-to-video generation on that model.

Sheet and Board

The Sheet page composes reference sheets from the object's images. See the Reference Sheet node. The Board page combines several of the object's images into one board image.

Use the object in a prompt

Wire the object into the Assets input of an image or video node. A wired object that you do not mention adds its phrase, such as the object from reference image A, at the end of the prompt.

To place the object inside your sentence, mention it by name: @lantern:1. Add a role to take one aspect: object (default), shape, material, color, texture or style, for example @lantern:1:material. Add ~lock to make the model match the object exactly. Object mentions have no autocomplete, so type them in full. Read Reference roles for the full grammar.

Choose an existing object

Click Choose existing on the node, or Choose from library or gallery in the settings panel. The picker has two tabs:

  • My Library: the objects you saved.
  • Public Gallery: objects shared with everyone. Choosing one copies it into your library first, and the node uses your copy. The Public Gallery is available on Nodaro Cloud and the Business edition.

Once the node has an object, the buttons read Replace. The node takes the whole object, with its main image and every variant. If you pick a gallery object you copied before, the picker asks whether to use your copy or Make a new copy. To remove an object from My Library, point at its card and click the trash icon: the object is archived and can be restored, and nodes that already use it keep working.

Credits

Generations in the studio are charged at the price of the model you choose. A motion clip costs the same as the same image-to-video generation on that model.

Tips

  • Describe materials precisely. "A brushed stainless steel coffee mug with a matte black handle" gives better results than "a mug".
  • Choose the right category. It tells the model what kind of item it is and how it is used.
  • Generate angles first. Angles are the most useful references for later compositions.
  • Add a reference image for real products. Photos keep a real-world item accurate.
  • Use the catalog. Wire a Material or Vehicle picker into Object type to define the object from a tested description.

From the API

Every studio operation is also available to code and to AI assistants: create an object, generate and approve the main image, add variants and motion clips, and archive or restore it. See Objects and the MCP tools.
