The Instagram Post node publishes an image, a Reel, a Story or a carousel to your connected Instagram account. Put it at the end of a workflow to post a generated result with a caption, without leaving Nodaro. The account must be an Instagram Business or Creator account.
When to use it
- Post a generated image to your Instagram feed.
- Publish a vertical video as a Reel or a Story.
- Post a carousel from a batch of generated images.
- Post on a schedule, with a Schedule Trigger at the start of the workflow.
To post to several networks with one kind of node, use Publish to Social. It posts to Instagram in exactly the same way.
Quick start
Connect Instagram
Open the Integrations page and connect your Instagram Business or Creator account.
Add the node
Press Tab on the canvas and choose Publish › Platforms › Instagram Post.
Connect the media and choose the action
Connect an image or a video to the node's input. In the settings panel, choose the Account and the Action, such as Post Reel for a vertical video.
Write the caption and run
Type the Caption and click Run. When the post is live, a View post link appears in the settings panel.
Inputs
The node has one input on its left edge. Connect the image or video to post. For a carousel, connect every image of the carousel to the same input.

- A carousel has from 2 to 10 items.
- A caption has up to 2,200 characters.
- Make Reels and Stories at
9:16, and square feed posts at1:1.
Why a post can take minutes
Instagram accepts media in the background, so Nodaro waits until Instagram has finished processing it before it publishes. This wait prevents a "media is not ready" failure.
- An image can take up to 90 seconds.
- A video or a Reel on a scheduled run can take up to 5 minutes.
- On a run you start yourself, the whole wait is capped at about 4 minutes. If Instagram is slower, the run fails without posting anything, and you can run it again safely.
Credits
Each post costs 10 credits. The node that made the image or video charges for it separately.
Tips
- Plan the frame before you generate. Set the image or video node to the format you will post, for example
4:5or9:16, so that Instagram does not crop it. - Write the caption with a text node. Connect a Prompt node to the input to write a caption from the same idea as the image.
- Post the same result elsewhere. Connect the result to Facebook Post or TikTok Post as well.
Troubleshooting
The node cannot post to my account. Instagram publishes from apps only to Business and Creator accounts. Switch the account type in Instagram, then reconnect it on the Integrations page.
Posting stopped working after a while. The connection to Instagram expired. Reconnect the account on the Integrations page.
A carousel fails to publish. Check that 2 to 10 items are connected to the node.
