Nodaro's code is source-available under the Nodaro Sustainable Use License. It is free for personal use, for development, testing and evaluation at any company size, and for internal business use by organizations of up to 3 people. Organizations of 4 or more people need a commercial license to use it in production. Offering Nodaro to others as a hosted service needs a commercial license at any size.

How people are counted. The size of your organization is its total headcount, however many of those people use Nodaro. Count founders, officers, employees and contractors, full-time or part-time, across all affiliated companies. Clients who only receive the videos, images or audio you make do not count.
The license also asks you to keep its licensing and copyright notices, and to include its terms when you give the software to others. Modified copies must carry a prominent notice. You may distribute the software only free of charge and for non-commercial purposes.

Enterprise code in the Docker image. The official image contains Enterprise code. You can run it in production without a subscription when two conditions hold. You qualify under the Sustainable Use License, and you neither install an Enterprise license key nor enable Enterprise features. Dormant Enterprise code needs no subscription. The Business edition's admin panel and user management are Enterprise features: see Editions and surface profiles.
Third-party components keep their own licenses. In particular, the video compositions build on Remotion, which has its own company license: free for individuals and companies of up to 3 employees, paid above that. Self-hosters are responsible for complying with third-party licenses.
Your content
The images, videos and audio you generate are yours. The license restrictions apply to the software, not to the content you create with it. See the terms for output ownership.
Branches
The licenses cover the main branch of the public repository. The content of other branches, such as dev, is provided for reference and development only.
Trademarks
The code licenses give no rights to the Nodaro name, logo or brand. You may say that your product "is built on Nodaro" or "is powered by Nodaro", without suggesting endorsement. If you distribute or host a fork publicly, rebrand it with your own name, logo and URLs. See TRADEMARKS.md.
