The **Video** tab of the node picker holds every node that brings in, creates, animates, edits or finishes video. It covers uploads, text-to-video and image-to-video generation, long videos and whole films, talking avatars and lip sync, extending and restyling footage, cutting and assembling, sound, titles and captions, formatting, analysis and 3D previz. Press Tab on the canvas and open the **Video** tab to see the nodes, grouped in families.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which node makes a video from a text prompt or an image?

Generate Video. With only a prompt it makes a text-to-video clip. Connect an image to its Start Frame input and it animates that image instead. For a video longer than one model run, use Generate Video Pro.

### How do I join several clips into one video?

Connect the clips to Combine Videos in the order you want. It joins them with a cut or one of more than 50 transitions, and handles the audio at each join.

### How do I make a person or a character talk?

Use AI Avatar to have a HeyGen avatar or your own image say a script or a voiceover. Use Lip Sync to make any portrait speak an audio track, or to dub an existing video into new speech.

### Which video nodes cost no credits?

Still to Video, Slideshow, Composite and Gif to Video render without an AI model and cost 0 credits. Upload Video only brings in your file and costs nothing either.

### Which video nodes need Nodaro Cloud?

Story → Video, its Scene nodes and 3D Render Pro run on Nodaro Cloud only. Generate Video Pro, Edit Video Pro, Edit Plan, Video Analysis and AI Audit run on Nodaro Cloud, and on a self-hosted install through a Nodaro Cloud connection.
