The **Vehicle** picker adds a vehicle to an image or a video. You choose one vehicle from its catalog, such as a '57 Chevy, a sportbike, a steam locomotive, a sailboat or a starfighter. Nodaro adds the vehicle and a short description of its body and details to the prompt of every node you connect it to. The picker never calls a model, so it costs no credits.

## How to use it
### Add the picker

Open the node picker and choose **Creative Controls › Subject › Vehicle**.

### Choose a vehicle

Select the node and choose a vehicle in the settings panel. The tiles are grouped by kind, and each tile shows an emoji icon of the vehicle.

### Connect it

Drag from the picker's output to the **Elements** input of a [Generate Image](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/image/generate-image) or [Generate Video](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/video/generate-video) node. You can also connect it to a [Text](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/automate/text) or [Prompt](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/automate/prompt) node to include the wording in a longer text.

### Run the image or video node

The vehicle's wording is added to the end of the prompt when the connected node runs.

Workflow: A Vehicle picker feeds the Elements input of Generate Video, and an Era / Period picker sets the decade through the Look input.

To see the exact words the picker will add, switch the node to the **Prompt** or **Both** display mode. The settings panel shows the same text under **Will inject into prompt**.

## What it adds to the prompt

In **Full** mode, the picker writes "featuring a", the vehicle's name and one sentence about its body, era and details. For **Sedan** it adds:

In **Compact** mode, it adds only `sedan`. Use **Compact** when your prompt already describes the vehicle, or when many pickers feed one node.

## Tips
- **Match the vehicle to its time.** Pair the picker with [Era / Period](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/creative-controls/era) to place a vintage car in its own decade.
- **Change the finish or the action.** Use **Custom text (before)**, for example `matte-black`, or **Custom text (after)**, for example `with tire smoke`.
- **Set the scene around it.** Add a [Setting](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/creative-controls/setting) picker, such as **Open Highway** or **Parking Lot**, for a real place.
