# Suno Upload Extend

> Continue any audio with Suno, not only Suno songs. Extend an upload, a voiceover or another AI track from the second you choose, in the style you set.

The **Suno Upload Extend** node continues any audio with Suno, not only songs made by a Suno node. Connect an uploaded file, a voiceover or a track from another AI node, choose the second where the continuation starts, and set the style. To continue a song made by a Suno node, use [Suno Extend](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/audio/suno-extend) instead.

## When to use it
- You want to extend an audio file that was not made by Suno, such as a recording or a loop.
- You want to continue a voiceover from [Text to Speech](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/audio/text-to-speech) with music.
- You want to lengthen audio from an external source or another AI tool.
- You want a longer version of a short clip or loop.

## Quick start
### Add the node

Press Tab on the canvas, or open the node picker in the sidebar, and choose **Audio › Music › Suno Upload Extend**.

### Connect the audio

Connect any audio node, such as [Upload Audio](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/audio/upload-audio), Text to Speech or [Generate Music](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/audio/generate-music), to the **Audio** input.

### Choose where to continue

Set **Continue At (seconds)** to a second inside the audio, for example `20`. Then describe the continuation in **Style**, for example `cinematic strings, slow build`.

### Run it

Click **Run**. The extended audio appears on the node.

Workflow: Suno Upload Extend continues an uploaded loop. Its result is a Suno track, so Suno Extend can continue it further.

| **Continue At (seconds)** | The second where the continuation starts. It must be greater than 0 and less than the length of the audio. At 0 or empty, Suno continues with its own parameters and ignores **Style**, **Title** and **Negative Style**. |
| **Use Default Parameters** | Checked by default. Leave it as it is. |
| **Title (optional)** | The title of the extended track, up to 80 characters. |
| **Style (optional)** | Genre and style tags for the continuation. |
| **Negative Style (optional)** | Styles to avoid in the continuation. |
| **Vocal Gender (optional)** | **Auto** (the default), **Male** or **Female**. |

## Tips
- **Choose the right extend node.** Use Suno Upload Extend for audio from any source, and Suno Extend for songs made by a Suno node.
- **Set the start point exactly.** Listen to the audio first and put the exact second in **Continue At**.
- **Set a style.** Use **Style** for the genre and the sound of the continuation, and **Negative Style** for what to avoid.
- **Keep going with Suno Extend.** The result is a Suno track, so you can continue it again with [Suno Extend](https://nodaro.ai/docs/nodes/audio/suno-extend).

### What is the difference between Suno Upload Extend and Suno Extend?

Suno Upload Extend continues any audio, such as an uploaded file, a voiceover or a track from another AI node. Suno Extend continues only songs made by a Suno node, which it finds by their Audio ID.

### Where does the continuation start?

At the second you set in Continue At, which must be greater than 0 and less than the length of the audio. At 0 or empty, Suno continues with its own parameters and ignores Style, Title and Negative Style.
